Neutral Beauty is Moving!!

Hello all!  Just a quick post to say that my blog is moving. My new blog will be at I know this blog hasn’t been up for very long but I wanted my own domain name and if I wanted it on my WordPress blog I would have to pay just to have it mapped so I figured I might as well just pay for my own hosting. I decided to go with Blogpress for several reasons, First, they do all the techie work so you can focus on blogging, they will help you make your blog exactly the way you want without all the fuss, if you don’t know how to do something just send them a message and they will respond within a few hours and last but not least, they use WordPress as their platform. Blogpress really is awesome and I’m so glad I found it, I can’t say enough good things about it. So please check out my new blog at Eventually, I will be taking the old blog down so please don’t forget to follow my new blog on Bloglovin’  I am working on new content everyday and I am very excited to get this blog up and rolling with original and consistent content for my readers. Enjoy! ❤

Mark Makeup Has Merged With Avon

Hey Ladies! I have been a Mark rep for about three years now so when I found out back in July that Mark was merging with Avon and if I wanted to continue to be a rep I had to become an Avon rep. Even though I wasn’t really an active seller with Mark I didn’t want to give up being a rep because I love their products especially the perfume Celebrate (it smells so good). Also because I started this blog I figured I could sell that way.

So Mark gave a transition period to switch over which waived the $10 enrollment fee (Mark was $20 to start) but unfortunately I didn’t make the cut off date because I couldn’t decided if I wanted to be an Avon rep, mostly because I do have an Avon store in my local mall that I can get anything I want from Mark or Avon. Now I know I said above that I didn’t want to give that up, however being an Avon rep is different and I’m still not sure I will make it because from my understanding you kind of have to sell and be active in order to be a rep and since I wasn’t active with Mark I question if I can be active with Avon. That’s just me being honest. I don’t really have a lot of friends and I’m quiet and shy. I just wanted to write this post to say that I did go ahead and sign up and I am going to do my best and be the best Avon rep I can be and hopefully with the help my sponsor I will be successful. I did put a link to my Avon Store in the menu and of course in this post so feel free to check that out!

Honestly, I have never used Avon products except for one face cream I bought from my local Avon store and it didn’t last long because I dropped it and it broke. 😦 But I am very excited to try the products, especially after seeing some of the videos on the new formulas of lipsticks and eye shadows and true color technology  which pretty much says the color you see is what you see when applied so I’m super excited to check them out. I can’t stand it when you by a lip color or eye shadow and it’s not at all what it looks like in the tube or palate. Ok, I will stop rambling now I haven’t posted in a while so I had a lot to say. I will work on getting more posts up soon. Have a great day!

xoxo Tracy

My First Ipsy Glam Bag!

Hey ladies, I received my first Ipsy Glam Bag a while ago and am just now posting about it. Check out the pics below to see what I got.
Glam Bag Goodies

Everything except the beach spray came in this cute little pink bag. I love that you get a new bag every month instead of a plain cardboard box.
The first thing I got is a Nailtini nail lacquer in the color Mai Tai.

Then I got a lip crayon from Pop Candy in Coral Crush which is awesome because I’m loving anything coral right now and I’m so glad I got the coral one. I am working on a video so I can show you what it looks like and talk more about each item. Anyway, the next product I got is a mineral sunscreen from Coola, with a spf 20. I haven’t tried it yet so when I do I’ll do an update. Then I got an eyeshadow pallet from BH Cosmetics, they give you one color from their Hollywood, San Francisco and Malibu pallet to try out. They are very pigmented and very pretty. Again I haven’t tried them out yet honestly because I forget that I have it when I am doing my makeup. The last product I got is a soy renewal beach spray from Healthy Sexy Hair. I can’t wait to try this one out, I have been looking for something that will help hold my curls when I do want to curl my hair. It’s very humid where I live so my curls tend to fall flat pretty quick. So that’s what I got in my first Ipsy Glam bag hope you enjoyed this post, I will post an update once I try all these products.

Join Ipsy and get your very own Glam Bag every month for only $10

Haul From Bulk Apothecary

Hello everyone! I just received my order from Bulk Apothecary so I thought I’d show you what I got. I’ve been wanting to make my own lip balm and lotions ever since watching some videos on YouTube, so I ordered a bunch of oils and butters so I could try it. Ok so I didn’t just get this stuff, I’ve had it for a little over a week. I’ve made a few lip balms and can’t wait to try some different recipes. So here’s a list of what I ordered:

Beeswax for the base. This is definitely a necessity so your lip balm isn’t like jelly (unless you like that).

  1. Shea Butter
  2. Cocoa Butter
  3. Coconut Oil (I got the wrong one so it doesn’t smell like coconut) 😦 If you order from this site make sure you get the extra virgin coconut oil not the 76 degree one unless you don’t want it to smell like coconut. I do so I will be ordering some more.
  4. Sweet Almond Oil
  5. Grapeseed oil
  6. Jojoba oil
  7. Essential oils: Grapefruit, Vanilla, Rosemary, and Sweet Orange
  8. And an unscented lotion base to make my own lotion. I haven’t worked with that yet but will soon.

I will be making some more lip balms soon and will be trying some lotion concoctions as well. I’ll keep you posted on the outcome. I will also be posting how I made them in case anyone wants to try it. 🙂

Welcome to Neutral Beauty

I have been wanting to start a beauty blog for a while now and I’m so excited that I finally decided to stop procrastinating and do it. I had so many ideas I wanted to write about, I knew the best way to do it would be a blog so I could share what I’ve learned and my ideas with others. I choose the name Neutral Beauty because I wanted this blog to be about natural beauty products but also about not-so-natural products, so I thought neutral beauty was a perfect fit. So, grab a cup of your favorite coffee or tea and enjoy! ❤
